Outdoor Paintings
Peter Johnston's outdoor paintings are a perfect way to incorporate original art into any outdoor space. Being weather proof Peter's original, one-off pieces look wonderful against courtyard walls, garden fences, in fact any area in a garden to create interest and draw the eye.
Technical details & information
Paintings are created on light, box shaped aluminium composite panels - primed with gesso then painted with acrylic paints. Once dry acrylics are permanent, flexible and water-insoluble. Each painting is overlaid with two layers of Liquitex gloss and matt polymer varnish. Liquitex acrylic varnishes are made from 100% acrylic polymer emulsions and form durable films when dry. They have excellent flexibility and resistance to chemicals, water, abraision and ultraviolet radiation and provide lasting protection for artwork.
